Jordan Calvert

Accounts and Tax Trainee

Jordan was born in Jersey and has lived here all of his life. He studied at De La Salle College where he completed his GCSE’s and A Level’s.  After leaving school he worked in the retail sector before joining the "Advanced to Work" scheme run by the States of Jersey; the scheme aims to provide experience and courses to develop their attendees skills so that they are ready to gain full time employment in their chosen industry sector.

Bracken Rothwell is a keen supporter of the scheme and of the drive that many of its attendees have and are currently giving Jordan industry experience to assist with his development.

Q&A:

If you had a super power what would it be?

It would have to be Dr Doolittle powers so that I could talk to animals; I reckon you could play loads of pranks on people.

What is your favourite time of year and why?

I don’t really have a favourite time of year as whatever season we are in I complain that it is too hot or too cold. I’m starting to sound like my Nan!

What is your favourite thing about working for Bracken Rothwell?

Definitely has to be the coffee machine, oh, and the people I work with are great!

What is your favourite part of jersey and why?

I love being by the beaches and countryside, and feeling like I don’t have a care in the world.
